Short-Term Running Goals:

In 2016 I plan to continue to get in shape and maybe do some trail races later in the year.

Long-Term Running Goals:

I am currently training to get back into running long distances.  I would really like to do some longer distance trail races in 2016.  I am currently trying to lose weight and my goal is to weigh between 170 and 175.

Personal:

In 2015 I was diagnosed with Social Anxiety Disorder. This explains why I'm so awkward. :)

Day 264 1.4

Busy busy busy, day and night, night and day.  Sheesh.  Working, full time school, donating plasma twice a week, endless homework assignments, huge home projects, doctor and therapy appointments.  The list goes on and on.  But hey, I'm still running and my streak continues.  I'm getting faster with the more weight I lose, which feels great, by the way.  For the first time in my life I am actually able to run without walking every five seconds.  Even last week or whenever that was, I ran for 96 mnutes straight without stopping or walking.  I definitely think the Adderall I'm taking for my ADHD is helping me stay focused, so I'm not constantly thinking how hard the run is or how tired I am.  Not only that, but it's helping me shed the weight, which is also great.  A great benefit of losing weight is that it creates more room for the heart to pump and for the lungs to expand more.  I'm not sure how many people are aware that when you have a lot of fat on the body, not only is it on the outside of the body, but also inside, which makes less room for the heart and lungs to function properly.  The more you know.....:)
