Short-Term Running Goals:

In 2016 I plan to continue to get in shape and maybe do some trail races later in the year.

Long-Term Running Goals:

I am currently training to get back into running long distances.  I would really like to do some longer distance trail races in 2016.  I am currently trying to lose weight and my goal is to weigh between 170 and 175.

Personal:

In 2015 I was diagnosed with Social Anxiety Disorder. This explains why I'm so awkward. :)

Thanks Mack. That was at the St. George half in January and about 10 lbs lighter. Today I'm starting to eat healthier and I will get back down to 175 or less. Right now I'm around 195.

Lily, I ate pretty healthy today. I'm determined to lose this weight. Also, today I bought a weight vest at Walmart. That should help me shed some lbs.

Smoothie, thanks. It sure feels good to get back into a routine of running every morning. However, its taking away my time to get things done around the house.

Yep, I like that picture. It's the only one in existence of me flying across the finish line with both feet off the ground. In fact, its the only picture of me with both feet off the ground, period. Lol

That was a fun race for you! You did awesome there! :) :) :)

Keep up the running routine, the things around the house will get done eventually. I find that if I exercise first thing in the morning, I have more energy to tackle other things. It's pretty hard though when YOU have to go to work too!

The kids and I will be watching for everyone at the finish line. Amy is very nervous, especially when she read about the time limit. If runners have not entered the canyon by 11:30 then they have to take a bus to the finish line. I think she can make it there, with ten minutes to spare.

Yes, she will be carrying her cell phone. She thinks she will finish in 7 hours, which is about right. We are very proud of her. She has lost around 70 lbs since last July. very cool

Yo Dale DoG, Give Ms. Amy a really harty congrats on getting herself to the OGDEN. What an outstanding effort!

I will be looking for hee at the bus loading area or the starting area to personally congradulate her. I have only one line of advice for her on race day.......Wear that smile of accomplishment big and proud and never, never, never, never, never, never, ever, never, never quit. and I'll be looking for you and the kids at the finish line!

Ya know it's only 134 days till the SGM? Plenty of time to get the weight off and the speed up!!!!!! Can't Wait!!!
