Short-Term Running Goals:

In 2016 I plan to continue to get in shape and maybe do some trail races later in the year.

Long-Term Running Goals:

I am currently training to get back into running long distances.  I would really like to do some longer distance trail races in 2016.  I am currently trying to lose weight and my goal is to weigh between 170 and 175.

Personal:

In 2015 I was diagnosed with Social Anxiety Disorder. This explains why I'm so awkward. :)

420 stairs.  First time in a long time doing stairs.  I'm going to do this twice a week and next week I'll add in walking lunges and squats.  Then the week after that I'll start doing more full body exercises.

Day 215 - 5.2

The plan was to do the usual 1.1 mile run, but I was feeling pretty good, so I decided to do 2 miles.  I was taking my usual 45 second walk breaks every four minutes, but after the last walk break, which ended at the 20 minute mark, I just kept going and going.  I ran the next 40 minutes without walking, and I was running faster than normal.  It just felt good.  So there's my long run for the week.  Now I can focus on re-landscaping my backyard tomorrow to prevent it from flooding and seeping into our house.  I've been working on that project every chance I get.  I got the side yard all done, which took a week and a half of manually cutting out rectangle sections of lawn, scraping the dirt off the bottom to make it flat, then sculpting the dirt so it slopes away from the house.  What a pain.
